I love talking to people who have been through it all in ministry, but are still sticking with it.
Jeff VanderGiessen spent eight years working at Mars Hill Church in Seattle before he felt God’s call to step out and found Amplio Systems, a company passionate about helping churches take the right next step, in the Chicago area.
Today, Jeff shares honestly about the grief he’s still had to process in seeing the difficult journey for Mars Hill with some insights into navigating ministry loss for every leader. Jeff also dives into the importance of taking regular breaks, having a hobby outside of the ministry, his feel for where the Church is headed, and why personality-driven churches aren’t the model to look up to.
This is a great conversation from someone with a huge heart for the Church — Listen in!
