This past week, I had the opportunity to lead a one-day event for pastors in the Dominican Republic. This was such a powerful experience and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to meet some incredible leaders who are doing some great work throughout this country.

We wanted to make sure we captured a conversation for the podcast while I was here. So I’m very excited to be sharing a conversation between myself, Victor Medina, Michael Moore, and Erick Suarez for Episode 15 of The 95 Podcast.

This is probably the most honest and straightforward conversation we’ve had on the podcast. I’m really excited to share it, and I hope that you’ll take some time to listen:

Here are some key takeaways from today’s conversation:

1. We need to rethink the way we typically do missions. I loved hearing the thoughts from Victor, Erick, and Michael about how a “partnership” style of missions is the most meaningful style of missions.
   
   
2. The message never changes, but the methods do. Sure, you’ve probably heard this statement before. But hearing how this truth is coming to life in their local context was so encouraging.
3. God is doing some incredible things to build His Church everywhere. Plain and simple, our God is building up His Church. He is so faithful and I love watching His plan unfold.
4. We need to partner with mission organizations that reflect the mission of our own church. Our mission and vision should be the filter for every single aspect of the ministry we do.
